A dream for the near future:
I visited a Palestinian friend in Gaza. We drank beer and went to surf at the beautiful beach. The waves took us to the future of Tel Aviv. Cars drove in the sky and everything was so futuristic and glowing but the streets still looked just like my hometown Tel Aviv looks today. A snapshot where surf and suds blend into a dreamscape. Here the classic architecture of Tel Aviv stands resilient amidst a sky of futuristic marvels, drawing a line between the enduring essence of home and the shimmering possibilities of what lies ahead.
